Thank you for choosing Make-A-Wish® Eastern Ontario as the beneficiary of your event. By organizing a fundraiser you can help support our mission to create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.

 

Here are some resources that will help you plan a successful fundraiser. We appreciate your interest in helping us grant wishes for children in our region.

Steps for a Successful Make-A-Wish® Fundraiser

 

It's Easy!

The first step is to fill out and send in your Fundraising Event Toolkit (please read it carefully).

Forms in BOLD below are included in the Toolkit.
 

 

Review and make sure you understand the Branding Guidelines and Third Party Fundraising Agreement.

 

Send us your completed Fundraising Event Application, Financial Event Fundraising Information and a signed copy of the Third Party Fundraising Agreement and we'll be in touch with you to take the next steps.

 

You can request Make-A-Wish resources by filling out the Promotional Material Form.

 

We can provide you with a letter for potential event sponsors identifying you as a Make-A-Wish event organizer. We just ask that you provide us with the names of the companies you plan to approach by filling out the Sponsor Solicitation Approval Form. We have existing relationships with sponsors so please let us know before approaching a local business for support.

 

We'll provide tax receipts for any donations of $20 or more you receive towards your event. Just collect the donor information in the Donation Tracking Form and hand it in after your event along with your Post-Event Financial Summary and your donations.

 

 

How We Can Help

As the event organizer, you take on the responsibilities for the event planning, coordination, and fundraising. We can help by providing you with resources that will help you along the way.

 

  • If you have a question our talented staff are here to help. We've planned many events before and we're happy to provide advice if needed.
     
  • Once your event is approved, we'll provide you with our Proud Supporter Logo for use on your event's promotional materials.
     
  • We will help promote your event by including it on our website's event listing. You can also tag us on social media and we'll help you spread the word.
