When you give $10,000 or more through the Adopt-A-Wish program, you’re able to follow the journey of one special child as they receive your support in making their magical wish come true.

What It Is
The Adopt-A-Wish program offers you the opportunity to invest in a experience that can alter the course of a wish child's life, forever. Individuals, companies or groups of individuals can raise money through a variety of ways to support a wish. You’ll follow the personal journey of a wish child as his or her wish is fulfilled.
How It Works
After making your gift to Make-A-Wish Northern Alberta, we will dedicate a specific wish to you, your organization, group or company. Your funds will turn that child's wish into a reality. You will receive information about one of our special wish children, including their medical condition, hobbies and their wish. You will then follow along on their wish journey, hearing updates, seeing photos and learning the ways your gift impacted the wish family.
How You Can Get Involved
This is a very flexible program. Sponsors can be as creative as they want to donate or raise funds. Whether you’re an individual or a group, you can make a donation, plan an event, collect donations on behalf of members, honour clients by making a donation and much more. If you would like to Adopt-A-Wish in your community, please contact Bryan Swain at bryan.swain@makeawish.ca

Kids for Wish Kids®
At Make-A-Wish, children are everything. And Kids For Wish Kids is a program that truly empowers them because kids manage it. Through responsibility and big hearts, they increase awareness for our mission and help many other children in turn.

What It Is
Through fundraising managed by kids, Kids For Wish Kids helps to increase awareness of what Make-A-Wish does. But most of all, it gives kids hands-on experience in fundraising, volunteer work and empowers them to help other children in need.
How It Works
Kids for Wish Kids is managed by kids. Kids are responsible for the program - from brainstorming fundraising ideas and developing action plans, to seeing the ideas come to fruition. Children form a committee, come up with fundraising ideas and ensure they are carried out. While teachers and parents sometimes serve as advisors, the kids are the ones who run the show! They can organize almost anything from a bake sale, to a dance marathon, a car wash and much more.

What It Is
Join Students for Wishes, a fundraising program designed for college/university organizations, such as student governments, athletic teams and sororities/fraternities, interested in contributing some of their time and energy to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions.
How It Works
We work with a dedicated student volunteer executive that raises awareness and funds for our cause. Usually, they’re set up as an on-campus club and help to offer students an opportunity to give back to their community through various events and fundraising campaigns.
Students for Wishes allows college-age students to help those closest to them: former classmates or other kids in their community. Local students do it all - organize, raise funds and manage their program. This hands-on experience allows them to see first-hand how they can impact a child's life by helping grant a wish.
here's your chance to have tons of fun by helping make wishes come true for kids with life-threatening medical conditions. As a Students for Wishes volunteer, you can partner with Make-A-Wish and cooridnate a fundraiser at your school to help sponsor wishes for wish kids in your community.
