Jan. 12, 2017, TORONTO – Are you interested in making an adventurous resolution this year that makes a difference in your community? This is the event for you! Take on an extraordinary challenge and register for Make-A-Wish®Rope for Hope, Presented by Canadian Western Bank, the national signature fundraising event for Make-A-Wish® Canada.
At Make-A-Wish® we are motivated to do everything we can to bring joy into the lives of children living with life-threatening medical conditions. We are thrilled when families send us photos from their wish trips; of their children enjoying their new room makeovers; or of them playing with toys from their shopping sprees. Seeing children smile again after their lives have been disrupted by critical illnesses is truly priceless.
More than 600 people, including former wish recipients and their families, rappelled from iconic city buildings across Canada in support of Make-A-Wish®
I’ll be honest, when I first joined the Make-A-Wish® team I didn’t know a lot about the organization. I had a feeling that it was a good cause, but I wasn’t really passionate about it.
October 26, 2016, OTTAWA – In many ways Fatima is like any 16-year-old girl. She loves to draw, take photos, shop, and watch movies.
However, Fatima is struggling with a life-threatening lung condition, making it difficult for her to travel - something Fatima would very much like to do.
The Students for Wishes group at Queen's University is excited about the year ahead.
