Bashar's wish to have a video production gear

Bashar is a 16-year-old boy suffering from a blood disorder. He's always dreamed of having his own gear so that he can produce movies for YouTube.

On Bashar's wish day we surprised him at school with a limo, balloons, and an awesome Canon Rebel T5I camera. The entire school came out to congratulate Bashar and send him off.

Next, Bashar was swept away to the Canadian Tire Centre. He received a tour of the production studio with Game Director, Paul Gallant and Video Editor, Brad Crowe. They showed Bashar how hockey game production works behind the scenes and helped Bashar put together a highlight video that aired on TV with his name in the credits!

Bashar was also able to tour the Sens locker room and training facility. He even got to meet Mark Borowiecki and Mark Stone.

After lunch, Bashar headed home for a big surprise. His very own state-of-the-art Producer Package, so he can work on his production skills at home.

Bashar was also invited to attend the Sens game where his segment aired, helped produce the first period of the show, and enjoyed the rest of the game from a VIP house seat!

Thank you Sony, the Canadian Tire Centre and the Ottawa Senators who went above and beyond for Bashar, Henry's Photo and Digital for providing cameras, Shawn at Creativision and Dymon Sorage who helped set up the producer suite for Bashar.
