Brandon's Wish to Go to Walt Disney World Resort

Brandon is 13 years old and suffers from Hodgkins Lymphoma. He wished to go to Walt Disney World with his family, and they had the most wonderful time on their trip over the Christmas holidays.

To reveal Brandon's wish, we teamed up with Games to Go who brought their giant mobile video gaming lounge right to Brandon's house! Brandon found out that his wish to go to Walt Disney World Resort and other attractions in Florida would come true, and he and his brothers celebrated with a whole afternoon of video games and fun.

To begin Brandon's wish, a limo brought the family to the airport where a WestJet representative greeted them and helped them quickly get through the airport, expediting the whole process. They got to board the airplane early, and Brandon and his brothers got to check out all of the plane controls in the cockpit. The pilot even made a special announcement that Brandon was on his wish trip!

Brandon and his family were greeted by Give Kids the World when they landed in Orlando and quickly made themselves at home at the resort. Brandon's mom told us, "There were so many activities in the [Give Kids the World] Village that it was hard to leave there to visit the theme parks!"

During their trip, Brandon's family got to not only visit Walt Disney World, but also Legoland, Disney's Animal Kingdom, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and other theme parks! They rode horses, met real live penguins (Brandon's favourite animal) and got to celebrate Halloween and Christmas in May.

The family wrote to us after their trip and said, "We were so happy to have such an awesome trip. We were given the most amazing opportunity that included everything we could possibly need. The experience is something we will never forget. The boys have not stopped talking about it and keep asking when we're going back!"

Thank you to Give Kids the World, TuGo, WestJet, Sony, Games to Go, and everyone who helped make Brandon's wish extra special.
