Mitchell's wish to go snorkeling in Maui!

18-year-old Mitchell is a typical outgoing, athletic and active teenager.  In his spare time, he enjoys working out and playing guitar, Metallica is his favorite band. He also enjoys playing hockey.

Back in November 2016, Mitchell’s life would change forever when he received the diagnosis that he had leukemia. He had to undergo a bone marrow transplant just a few months after his diagnosis. His family and friends provided him with overwhelming support through it all.

Mitchell ‘s wish was to go snorkeling in Maui.  He chose this wish because he thought it was the most beautiful place in the world! He loved the ocean and he wanted to explore the volcanoes.  Back in January a special celebration was planned with friends and family at the Black Dog Bistro. Mitchell walked in a surprise party where he learned that his wish was coming true.  Mitchell was humbled and overwhelmed by the show of love from his family and friends.

Mitchell and his family had a fantastic trip in Maui. While in Maui, they went norkeling, ziplining and enjoyed surfing lessons.  Mitchell’s family “Words can’t express appropriately the appreciation we have for this trip. Mitchell and his family are truly grateful for this wish trip “Special thanks to Tysen’s Mission to a Million for adopting his wish!
