Scott had a blast in Orlando! #WishGranted

Scott is a very kind-hearted soul and he tends to put others before himself.  He always strives for his best work possible, in school and in his art. He can sometimes be pretty hard on himself, but like any 10-year-old boy, he has a pretty good sense of humour! Scott is in Cub Scouts, he loves video games, and oh he loves Lego, Lego and more Lego.  When he’s healthy he likes playing soccer and he likes painting and making crafts. And Scott loves spending time with his cousins.

“As a family, having Scott’s wish granted would give him that “pick-me-up” that he so needs.  So many times Scott’s medical issues have held him back from doing what other kids do, and he’s been very upset that he isn’t like ‘normal’ kids.  Sometimes being special for kids like Scott can make them feel like its not a good thing.  Having his wish granted would remind Scott that being special is a good thing and he should be proud of who he is, despite how hard it can be.” -Scott’s family

In February on during a huge snowfall friends and family gathered at Pita Pit to surprise Scott with the amazing news that his wish would come true. He and his family were going to all the Orlando them parks!!

March 11, 2019 the family arrived at the Ottawa airport by limousine and were greeted by wonderful WestJet representatives that treated him like a VIP. Scott and his family were on their way to beautiful Orlando for their wish trip!

"We can’t say enough good things about the staff at Make a Wish and at GKTW.  So supportive and caring and all around wonderful!!!! The staff at Legoland and Disney were great, everyone there is so accommodating and kind. Universal was hands down the best and treated Scott like a Prince! Words cannot express how thankful we are for the amazing Wish that Make A Wish granted for my son Scott! Thank you for sending Scott to Legoland...& a few more parks. Amazing memories!" -Scott's parents

Thank you to Give Kids the World, Disney World, WestJet, TuGo Insurance, Sony, Special thank you to Pita Pit for adopting his wish!
